I can't be the only one who's bemused by the whole 'RACE FOR THE TOP 4' bogus competition we're all supposed to be enthralled with?
Maybe because I'm West Ham that I'm completely dissociated from circus around it, but it just seems utterly pointless. So what if Liverpool pip Man City into the fourth qualifying slot? What do they win? A chance to qualify for another competition they have no chance of winning? Are their fans actually excited about this?
It's like hearing that Scarlett Johansson's going to be at a party somewhere in December. For the next eight months you head off to every party you catch wind of trying to find out where she's going to be. December comes around and your unwavering endeavour is rewarded with a golden ticket informing you that you're going to a party, hosted by Scarlett and her wiggly bits. Are you any closer to sausaging her? Are you heck!
